When the prisoner came to our room on the Wednesday morning I saw the prisoners face all red and asked him what's the matter with your face, and he said the woman had the months [?] flower. He stood up and looked in the looking glass, I did not see him wash. I then came downstairs. The basin and water were in  the kitchen . I think it was blood he had on his face. I did not notice his clothes.
