I may overstepped the mark already. I hope not as I know these little facts would interest you. I would like to get a decent photo of our convoy, but I doubt whether I'll be able to manage it. Cameras are strictly barred. Barring our second night out, we have had an exceptionally fine passage so far, but of course we have a long way to go yet as I am told we may get in a week today. We have a certain amount of military duties to perform. I happened to be an officer in charge of Guard the night it was rough which was unfortunate, as I was pretty sick! However that is the only time so far that I have given way & really believe that Grace Cross's cure is doing me a deal of good! I am orderly officer today. I don't fancy the of poking about to see if the men's quarters are tidy, as they are down in the bowels of the ship, & it is always so close and smellie there, you may depend I won't waste much time on the job! We have a most extraordinary collection on board, some of the officers are awful bounders
