Y.M.C.A. On Active Service WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE Monday Apr 8/18 My Dear Mother we arrived here last night about supper time, and we haven't done anything today but have a bath which we certainly needed after travelling in the mud and dry box cars. i am with the 5th C.D.A.C. at present but expect to be moved up to a battery in a week or so.
