continuously from the start ??? as the 62o did during the last three days but no doubt that was on account of the Jasneers?? of the fog which were increased by the fact that one were a dark ship. It is so dark on deck at night that one has to feel one's way. They are a great many guards & sentries provided for day & night & the orderly officers have to be on continuous active duty for 24 hours.
The days pass pleasantly enough & I don't think there are many who feel serious anxiety. All the same we shall all be glad to get ashore for of course the submarine danger increases hourly with our approach to the other side. However the matter is out of our hands & all we can do
