camp is way out in the wilderness or I would have stayed over the next day. They thought there was a possibility to get away Sat. but when I received tel. from Vernon saying that it would be impossible for some time yet I was rather sore besides that I had a wire from Seaford telling me that I could not have an extension that meant that I was to return Sat night. But I fooled them. I mailed my pass to one of the boys in camp so that it could be handed in at the guard room on time and then took the train to [Cuchfield] and then spent Sat & Sunday with the [Frelteweys].
