My Dear Miss Dode, Your letter has found me out down here about as far away as I could possibly be from Vancouver. It is a land of flowers, and lovely summertime, of fishing when you like it and dreams - a new world for us of the Northern climes. Just [?] the most wonderful of moons - fulfilling the words of the old song - [raptly?] falls the Lantern moon. I have been here a week and intend to remain another and then move up north to Washington, Atlantic City, New York with a week in Ottawa to see how my old political associates are prospering before going back to Nova Scotia. I have had [f-?] [?] [?] and am in splendid shape quite got back to more than my old form and will be quite ready to play the game again as soon as the occasion is opportune.
