In future, whenever you send anything of mine to any of our friends, I wish you would clearly indicate that it comes from you and not me. Because I never bother any of them with it, and never try to advertize my stuff that way. The Post is sufficient circulation for me.

I heartily appreciate your motive in writing to him, but Mr. Lorimer has access to every clipping in America touching on the Post; he knows to a cent what each man's work is worth to him; and nothing a man's family or relative can do will help his standing. His work is all that counts.
