Lieut. Harold E. ("Dollie") Whyte, of the 102nd Battalion, returned to Victoria yesterday by the morning boat, suffering from shell shock, which he sustained after being at the front only three weeks. He was accompanied here from Vancouver by his wife, who went there to meet him. Lieut. Whyte left here with Lieut.-Col. Warden's unit in June, and was injured during the early part of September. He spent a short time in English hospitals before coming back to Canada to recuperate.
