Kicking no differance in him. but he says he is a little crumy. and I also saw all the 67th Cariboo Boys in the trenches the other day the 30th Aug. they are [fix uily] trenches. they are all still alive and kicking some of them are a little nervous they work at nights, well Fred they got a few of the 54th Boys already. a good reception for a start. Fred. Kellys Hotel would look good to me now. never had a face wash for 9 days. was speaking to Jim Murphy a' Be Jesus this is fighting they cannot hit a man in these trenches. the words
