I had a letter from Johnny 2 or 3 days ago & he seems very fit. He & [Terri?] [?] appear to forefather quite a lot. They seem to have been to those sales. Johnny looked with longing eyes at a pony but couldn't bring himself to buy it. Freda tells me she has had measles. I am to [?] for her. I do hope she is alright again. It is such hell getting [?].
