Dearest Mother,
Here we are moving slowly down the old St.Lawrence, on our way to Quebec. We left Toronto yesterday morning at about 9:30 and arrived in Montreal at 6:00 in the evening. Some of us went up to the Windsor Hotel and had dinner and loafed around till 8:00, when we reported at the dock and found that we were to go on this boat, the nicest that sails from Montreal.

Last night I did up a photo and mailed it to you. Hope you will like it. I gave one to Uncle Fred and one to the Smiths. Both Uncle Fred and Aunt Jessie seem to like it. They said

Here se are moving slowly down the old St. Lawrence, on our way to Quebec. We left Toronto yesterday morning about 9:30 and arrived in Montreal at 6:00 in the evening. Some of us went into the Windsor Hotel and had dinner and loafed around till 8:00, when we reported at the dock and found that we were to go on this boat, the nicest that sals from Montreal.
