Billy Bowron is lucky to get job like that as he will get a chance to get a little bit ahead of the game.

Bear Lake is apparently going to see some hunters this fall. Well I sure hope they are successfull. What wages are they paying in Barkerville now. Times are pretty good on the Coast here now. Austrians & Bullhunks appear to have command of the logging camps etc. Thank God! The Italians have to come in soon. I'd a darn sight rather see them come in than see the 19 year old class called up.

Roy must have been mistaken about the number of teeth I had pulled out when I ran in that mile race as I only had 10 pulled. However it was a crazy thing to do anyhow & I never knew what chances I was taking or I never would have run. Glad to hear you are getting your Quartz opened up so good & Sincerely Wish you can make a sale of it
