The weather has been very decent lately except for the last couple of days which have been terribly windy, existence in a tent on such days is pretty miserable, one gets so tired of the continual flip flap about ones ears from the noise of the canvas shaking and the dust beggars description, everything in my tent after a wind storm (which we get nearly every alternate day) is camouflaged under a about 1/2" of very fine dust, impossible to keep anything clean or half decent. A great many of the subs are in huts, the lucky bounders, so the dust doesn't bother them much. However, as soon as there is a show on in France, for the Canadians there is likely to be a great thinning out of officers, as most of them have been here for months, my chances of moving into a hut then should be good, at least I live in hopes. By the way, any letters you address to me now you might address as per the notepaper I am using. I have got all you sent c/o 1st Reserve BN as their depot is right next ours, so I had no distance to go for them, all letters you have sent c/o Army P.O. have reached me here too, the
