Many thanks for your splendid letter which I much enjoyed. Yes I'm back at the ruddy front again - been here since 24 September we came up from the Somme about 15 Oct. to this part of the line a little further north (N-SteV)[?] and have been in the line here for the last fortnight. I'm living in a dugout which is not the finest home in the world in this kind of weather but
