I had made up my mind I wouldn't; and perhaps it was because I talked reasonably that they listened and seemed willing to help me. Anyway they say they couldn't promise any thing but they thought I could be reasonably sure of sailing in about three weeks' time. As they put it that way I am the more willing to believe them. Am leaving for Pontefract on Monday and will be there till Saturday at least unless I get an extension of leave, then perhaps longer. Love to you both,
