Dearest Mother,
Another week has gone by since I last wrote but your usual letter has not reached as yet. I often wonder what you are doing and how you are. You will probably be expecting to have Dad home about the time this is reaching you, will you not?

Well Aunt Mary came last Wednesday and I went down to see her that evening. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get away from the aerodrome since but hope to go down and see her either this afternoon or evening. She is much stouter and somewhat deafer than when I last saw her , I think 9 years ago this summer. She is going to make the Bowen,s her "headquarters" and visit

Dearest Mother,

Another week has gone by since I last wrote but your usual letter has not reached me as yet. I often wonder what you are doing and how you are. You will probably be expecting to have Dad home about the time this is reaching you, will you not?
