Sept 26th. No sign of the party surely they will be here today; but the rain may have stopped them it is very wet today.
Sept 27th. The rain has caused the lake to rise 3 ft consequently making us move all our tents; it is still raining hard & no sign of the party.
Sept 28th. Fine today; making things ready for the party; cooking lots of grub for them.
