Fall of Falkenhayn; Marshal Hindenburg appointed chief of Gernam General Staff, and General Ludendorff Chief Quarter-Master-General. Prisoners captured in British offensive since July 1: 266 Officers and 15,203 men, with 86 guns and 160 machine guns.
