as a band.
Well, as to the country of my forefathers, I have to admit that I am sadly disappointed in it, and it goes a little lower in my estimation every day. The principal cause for complaint is that there are everywhere two prices on commodities or articles of mechandise, one for the natives, & one for Canadians the latter in cases I have found as much as tripling the formers. I won't dilate on the subject, I feel too good-natured this morning to do our English cousins justice, but I must say they get on my nerves, and there are lots of opportunities for a making up process.

Well, as to the country of my forefathers, I have to admit that I am sadly disappointed in it, and it goes a little lower in my estimation every day. The principal cause for complaint is that there are everywhere two prices on commodities or articles of merchandise, one for the natives, & one for Canadians the latter in cases I have found as much as tripling the former. I won't dilate on the subject, I feel too good-natured this morning to do our English cousins justice, but I must say they get on my nerves, and there are lots of opportunities for a making up process.
