We had a very magnificent send off from a hearty + sympathetic crowd which seemed to be composed of personal friends. Scene of moving colour of masses on wharf seen from [Shearner's?] bridge never to be forgotten. Day perfect. Saw [Nell?] on the way down but missed Harry.
